Can I put more than four or five podcityguides on my iPod?
The number of cities is limited by the number of entries within the cities. The iPod only allows 1000 notes to be added.

Error No.5 - Could not Get Process Information from remote Machine, appears on opening PodCityGuides
This could be due to your FireWall Policy and/or Check your Net Connection for Connectivity Issues.

My favorite restaurant is not included?
Wcities offers tens of thousands of reviews on restaurant, attractions, nightlife and more. Add your own personalized content with your TravelBag .

Why are there only a select number of places included?
Wcities only puts a select amount of content because of the limitations of the iPod note feature. To add your own places log into your Travel Bag.

Can I link to video or audio from the entries?
Wcities is currently working on increasing the capabilities and possibilities of our iPod application.

What does the Blue text describe on the Application?
The Blue text shows information that is not currently on your iPod, click the Sync icon to have the information updated.

My city is shown in Red text. What does this mean?
The Red text means that there has been certain content deleted by the user. To get all content for a city, click the box next to the city or category and hit the sync icon to have the information updated.

What does the preview button do?
The preview icon allows a user to see what is currently on their iPod and what is available on Wcities. This also allows a user to look at the content on the application.

What does the eject button do?
The eject button allows a user to disconnect the iPod from the application.

Can I send this application to my friend?
You can send the application to a friend, by clicking on the mail icon. This will send them the directions for installation.

How can I remove the Wcities Podcityguide?
Go to Add/Remove programs from the Control Panel on your computer, find the PodCityGuides from the list, and click to remove. Then go to My computer icon, and explore the program file folder. Find the Wcities folder and hit delete.

My city does not have movie content?
Wcities unfortunately does not have movie showtimes for all cities that we offer. We are constantly working on expanding our movie offerings.

I would like to add an event to my city. How can I do this?
You can request an event to be added by going to the following URL and submitting the event information. http://corporate.wcities.com/contactus.html

How often should I update or sync my iPod?
Wcities suggest that you sync your application at least once a week to take advantage of the updated movie showtimes updates, and event calendar updates.

How can I save my favorite places in the TravelBag^TM?
Go to http://www.wcities.com , and log into your account, then while browsing a city, click "add to travelbag" link on points that you want to bookmark and save.

How do I add my Travel Bag to my iPod?
To add your Travel Bag, you have to first add a (any) city to your iPod. Select the city you want to add (you can delete it afterwards if you don't need it). A window will pop up asking you if you want to add your Travel Bag also. Hit "Yes", it will download it automatically.

How do I exit the PodCityGuides application?
When you close the desktop application on your computer, the software driving the application is still running. If you want to exit the application, right-click on the iPod icon in the bottom-right quick launch toolbar of your computer and hit exit.

Can I just select a limited number of categories (attractions and events but not hotels) for downloading to my iPod?
Yes and No. You cannot pre-select the categories of the city/cities you are interested in. If you only want certain categories, remove the categories you don't want after the whole city download is completed.

How can I remove a category (Hotels, Attractions, Restaurants, Events, Movies, etc.) from a city?
You remove a category the same way you remove a city from your iPod. From the desktop application, the categories appear under each city if you click on the box in front of the city. Click in the box associated to the category you want to remove and hit the delete button. Once it's done, a window will pop up signaling it has been "successfully removed".
