How to use the features of the PC application?
A minimum of one and maximum of three cities can be attached to the e-mail. Type in the recipients email address and any message (optional). Click on 'Send' to send the mail.
When you close the desktop application on your computer, the software driving the application is still running. If you want to exit the application, right-click on the iPod icon in the bottom-right quick launch toolbar of your computer and hit exit
New users can register themselves by clicking on the "Get Registered" link provided on the Login screen.
Registered users can enter their user name and password.
To continue, connect your iPod to the computer.
Please wait while the software downloads data from the site.
PodCityGuides checks for Wcities Data on the iPod. If not found, it prompts the user to add data.
Once data is added all the contents on your iPod are shown in the iPod image on the screen.
The text color represents what data is synced with the website data.

Some content on the iPod does not match with the website content.
Blue
New Content exists on the website but not on the iPod.

Content exists on the iPod but not on the website.
The application provides the user five major functionalities-
1. Synchronize
If the iPod data and website data do not match, the user can click on the Synchronize City button to update the iPod content with the website content. The user has to select the city to be synchronized by selecting the adjacent checkbox.
2. Add
The user can add a new city on his iPod by clicking the 'Add City' button.
Upon clicking, the following screen will be displayed.
Select your designated continent and a list of countries in that continent will be displayed under the head 'Country'.
Once the user selects a country, a list of cities within that particular country will be displayed under the head 'Cities'.

The selected cities will be displayed in the box below. Before clicking on 'Add to iPod' the user can remove any of the selected cities by unmarking the adjoining checkbox. Finally, the user has to click on 'Add to iPod' to add the city to his/her iPod.
A popup asking whether the user wishes to add his Travel Bag to the iPod will be shown on the screen.
New cities added will now be shown along with the existing cities under the head 'My Cities'.
The user has to click on 'Close' to return to the original screen. 
3. Delete
Users can delete an existing city from their iPod by clicking the 'Delete City' button.
4. Preview
Users can view the contents of the selected folder by clicking the 'Preview' button.

5. Email to Friend
Users can mail the information on their iPod by clicking on the 'Send Email to Friend' button. This functionality is available only for registered users. Users logged in as guests cannot use this function. Registered users can attach city information from their iPod to their e-mail by selecting from the cities shown on the left hand side.

Once you have completed using the application click the 'Eject' button to disconnect the iPod from the PC.
How to access your PodCityGuide on your iPod?
Once you have downloaded your city guide with the desktop application, eject your iPod using this button
On the main Menu, scroll down to "Extras".
In the "Extras" Menu, scroll down to "Notes".
In "Notes", select "Wcities Cityguide" and choose the city you want to access the info you are searching for.
If you added several cities at one time, it might take some time for your iPod to download the notes. Wait until the notes are fully uploaded.
NB: Each time you connect your iPod to the computer and log in, the application will run and the data will be synchronized automatically. Wait until the synchronization is complete before adding or removing a city.
